How long will it take?

Some people seek long-term treatment and find therapy to be an ongoing resource for their wellbeing. Others are interested in brief, solution focused work and participate in therapy for 2-6 months. I do work with people on a more short-term basis; at the same time, it is important to understand that sometimes, in order to really address your concern, it can take time, understanding, and ongoing support to sort through complex issues and truly change patterns of behavior and thinking.
